Are you trying to pay in the chrome browser? I had the same problem. I tried in another browser and the payment went through with no problem. Also I've been trying to pay my bill online for two days at mydish dotcom
I get this when I click "Pay My Bill"

Using Firefox at mydotdishdotcom. Second attempt went through. A strange thing happened a few months ago when paying. After logging in it said I need to submit a new payment method even though I've been using the same for 5 years. Tech fart I guess. I was concerned since they've been hacked before. Are you trying to pay in the chrome browser? I had the same problem. I tried in another browser and the payment went through with no problem.
Dish CS is involved. I would never wish someone lose their job but this was a major fiasco directly due to tech's poor judgement and decision making. It's concerning that the tech mixed up accounts and then asked for reimbursement outside of proper channels. I'd recommend contacting Dish's customer support to resolve this.
If the tech was being dishonest with his customer as well as his employer maybe he deserves to lose his job.Dish CS is involved. I would never wish someone lose their job but this was a major fiasco directly due to tech's poor judgement and decision making.
While i never wish anyone to lose there job. I have to agree... If an employee is being dishonest with the customer and the employer that don't look good for the employer and word gets around fastIf the tech was being dishonest with his customer as well as his employer maybe he deserves to lose his job.
i wonder how many goto cable even though cable is dying!!! i think most goto fiber since that's where people are flocking toI have to think it's like a total revolving door as far as the techs. They hire on and see how long they can either take it or until canned
He didn't do anything illegal. You signed agreeing to the charge. If he shows up or calls you'll be the the 3rd to know after Dish and the popo
I did the same with Dish when I still had it. Every year, I'd call and ask for a deal. Anytime they balked, I'd just say I still had a DTV dish on my roof and they have good deals for new customers.Iv'e taken shots at both to be fair... i've gotten better results from direct... as far as high bills we have always called in and asked if there were any promo's for us and we were just like if not were walking. They have always given us wheels and deals!!! I agree that the way they run credit is complete BS also.. both have old tech now and either ones investing in new tech since people are fleeing.
How many notice the difference? Cable vs fiber is meaningless to most.i wonder how many goto cable even though cable is dying!!! i think most goto fiber since that's where people are flocking to
IN some instances. I have 15 guys, only 1 has been here less than a year. 10 have been here over 5 years but some offices, the door is revolvingI have to think it's like a total revolving door as far as the techs. They hire on and see how long they can either take it or until canned
If he shows up at my door expecting compensation of some sort, well then we'll have a problem. He told me he was going to do just that.He didn't do anything illegal. You signed agreeing to the charge.
That's a great point! I hadn't thought of thatI am surprised nobody has yet to bring up the fact that now you have your credit card number associated with another customers DISH Network account.
Read your contract. In the event of a cancellation fee, or charges for un-retuned equipment, DISH will charge any payment method ever used to make a payment on an account. This means that if the customers account which you made the $50 payment on breaks their contract, or doesn't return their equipment, they could charge your credit card if they can't collect from any other payment methods that other customer has on file.
You might have gotten a refund, but I would consider escalating this to the presidents office to make sure your banking info is removed from the other account.
Granted you can always dispute the charges with your bank, but better safe than waking up one morning seeing you have no money in your bank account.
Report the card lost to the CC provider and get a new card with a new number.I am surprised nobody has yet to bring up the fact that now you have your credit card number associated with another customers DISH Network account.

Agreed! Which is why I keep a spreadsheet with all my auto pay accounts & contact info for whenever it happens to me. It never goes flawlesslyReport the card lost to the CC provider and get a new card with a new number
I do the same. After all those cards lapse after 5 years and a new expiration date is issued and you have to update all those autopays. It usually takes me about a half hour to update all of them.Agreed! Which is why I keep a spreadsheet with all my auto pay accounts & contact info for whenever it happens to me. I just called DISH customer service. I could hardly understand him so I asked for the highest tier. He said he was the highest tier. Mmmm, kay.I am surprised nobody has yet to bring up the fact that now you have your credit card number associated with another customers DISH Network account.
