Back in February of 2013 Cablevision sued Viacom, alleging that the company was violating antitrust law by force-bundling channels. But with Cablevision now being sold to French telecom giant Altice, the two sides appear to have settled their differences and the lawsuit. A vague joint announcement notes the terms of the settlement are secret, but that the two companies are "simultaneously entering into mutually beneficial business arrangements."
