Hey guys. Im just wondering if its possible to cascade an SW21 switch to my current SW31 switch. My Receiver is a VIP211K. If im able to cascade them i can add the new 118 sat. If not i have to get that new dish500+ because currently all my LNB's are legacy.

Basically 110 port 1, 119 port 2, Port 3- cable to SW-21, then on the SW21 ...118 on Port 1, 61.5 on Port 2.

Thanks in advanced!

Never heard of an SW31. Can you provide a link?

The Dish 500+ is the better solution, but if you follow the link to that page there is a link to a legacy alternative. If you can see 129° and don't need 61.5°, you can add an LNB making it a Dish 1000+ and take down the second dish.
Basically 110 port 1, 119 port 2, Port 3- cable to SW-21, then on the SW21 ...118 on Port 1, 61.5 on Port 2.
The generally preferred order is 119 port 1, 110 port 2.

Also, cascading doesn't work the way you describe. The SW21 may be used to add one more satellite to the output of a multi-sat switch (and can't be another SW21). It must be placed with the output of the larger switch going to Port 1 and the extra sat going to Port 2. If you have more than one tuner you have to duplicate the RG6 run from another output using another SW21.

Thanks for the Info guys. I've done a lot of playing around today and i've come to the conclusion that Basically only way for this to work is Use an SW64 in conjunction with an SW-21. So i bit the bullet and bought the SW64 for a very good price.

Thanks for all the help though
