CEO Admits problems with 522, says released to current customers in January

In that Chat with Charlie show (the CEO of Dishnetwork) someone called in and asked about when they could get some new features. The features were found in the 522 receiver, so Charlie mentioned that. He admitted that the current customers were having some issues, and they were trying to work them out. He said that the current plan is to release the box to current customers in January 05. At least the CEO is well aware that there are still outstanding issues.

That was during the September chat.

Altho last spring Charlie said it would available to current subsribers around Sept.

Does anyone remember the Dishplayer ? No your not getting replacement boxes. The best you can hope for is another round of software upgrades that may or may not fix your current problem but WILL cause you new issues heretofore not yet experienced !
