CBS-HD is on the wings right now and will be on there after 4/14
They're changing it to 8PSK, so if you have a 6000 without the module or a 5000, you're SOL

I have the 811.I was hoping it was moving to 105,110, or 119 cause this using a 4th sat is a pain at times till the dp+44 switch is available..

Dish better damn well give me a 8PSK module if this is true. They are always talking about how they will never force you to buy equipment to continue to receive channels you already pay for. I'm going to hold them to that promise.

so ..... cbshd is currently being broadcast in 8vsb on the 61.5 bird?
I have a jvc hm-dsr100 receiver vcr combo, a friend of mine gave me the 8vsb module
for the 5000 (I'm assuming it's the same receiver)
I never tried to install it, figuring that E* no longer transmits in 8vsb.
but if they still do... I might give it a try tonight.

CBS will be in 8PSK, not 8VSB. The 8VSB module for the 5000 will not be of any use in your situation.
