What dish should i have installed if im comming back to dish via AT&T Dish Network? I live in Columbus/Gahanna, OH and would want locals and some hd programming, not voom though at this time. Anyone chime in on what i should get and make shure i do get. i realy like the 1 wire solution (finally) on dpp recievers, but whats my odds of getting that. Also should i pre-run the wires to the area i want the dish at, i have a brand new reel of perfect10 dual wire w/ ground lead to use.

Pre-running is nice...especially since you're using P10 dual. Chances are you'll have a rep from Digital Dish doing your install. As to the dish, it will be a D1000. Not only are your Columbus locals on the 129, but the hi-def is also on that bird.

neither are applicable for your given situation. At this point in time, The 1000+ will be used for international channels (replacing the SD121) in Ohio....and the 1000.2 isn't out yet.

Just trying to advoid costly upgrades when it comes to dishes in the future. What equiptment should i be getting if i'll want a hd-dvr, and an hd nondvr box?

AFAIK, the best "solution" would be the 622/211 combo. The 622 will handle the HD-DVR chores and the 211 will do the nonDVR HD duty. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to pony up the $199 upgrade fee for the 622 receiver.
