conflict resolution should just work like it does on the ViPs

I've got four timers, A B C and D, that all happen to occur at the same time. Since D was the last created, A B and C get recorded simultaneously, and D picks up the next showing of its episode. No problem so far. But I decide I want to watch show D the night it first airs, not after my bedtime or the next day. On the old receivers, if I go into the timer list and move D above C, then D will be recorded on first airing and C on the second airing, automatically. However, on the HwS, D gets recorded as expected, but the next airing of C doesn't get scheduled to be recorded -- when I look at the full timer list, the second airing is still listed as "already scheduled"! I assumed that this was just a glitch and would be resolved when the guide reloaded overnight, but it wasn't. (I assume it will function correctly the next week since the timer order will now be fixed rather than moving, but I can't verify that yet because it's more than a week away. Anyway, it should just function properly the first time, like it does on the ViPs.)

I did notice that there was an option on one of the timer screens to resolve the conflict manually by displaying the nightly channel guide for all four channels so I could cancel and restore instances of the four programs as I see fit. That's a good idea, except in this particular case it didn't work because the guide only showed a few hours and couldn't be scrolled ahead, and the second showing of the program I wanted to see last didn't occur until early the next morning. Plus, why should I have to do this at all? It should've just picked up the second showing of the reprioritized timer, like the old receivers!

Having typed all that, I'm going to have to add for the sake of completeness that I just checked again to see if the problem had resolved itself after another nightly guide update, and I see that the second showing of the program that didn't get picked up automatically now has a generic description and no episode number, rather than complete data. HOWEVER, on the night I moved the timers, and the next night for that matter, it did have the episode number and specific episode description, plus, as far as I know, "new" timers still pick up episodes with incomplete data just in case.

I have done your ABCD scenario several times without such problem...ie, last Sunday bounced Boardwalk Empire in favor of Walking Dead's original hour.

OK, then I'm left to assume that the problem I had was some sort of guide glitch (gee, who would have imagined?!) involving some data I can't see being incorrect.
