Internet video has become genuinely mainstream — 141 million Americans watched more than 10 billion video clips online in December, according to Internet measurement firm ComScore. But the vast majority of it is consumed by a small minority of viewers. In fact, these hyper-users beat the so-called 80-20 rule. When it comes to watching TV on computer screens, the top 20% of viewers account for upward of 85% of all the minutes of video viewed online.
