CSTV is testing on E*

I am hearing that has been added because of something to do with Sirius. (In other word Sirius had a hand in bringing CSTV to Dish) :)

I wonder if CSTV is going to be a factor since ESPN announced that they are starting a 24 hr college sports channel, ESPNU? CSTV may have a real difficult time competing with the resources that ESPN has available.

nope - I would guess it has more to do with the Mountain West Conf getting football and basketball on CSTV (they just switched from ESPN). MWC has a bunch of teams around Littleton - coincedence? I think not...

Not to be a wet towel on this celebration, but let's wait until the channel is announced and available. I still remember how we were *sure* to be getting YES Network back in March or April ... :(

I somewhat agree with what you are saying, but YES Network was never in the testing stage as CSTV is. There is even EPG data in the stream.

YES network was uplinked on channel 411 back when it first launched for a few weeks. :) It obviously never came to pass. But that doesn't happen very often.

See ya
