D* Sells stake in Tivo

Hard to end a contract when you own the part of the company? Considering recent management actions, I would be nervous if I was tivo.

I wouldn't wouldn't worry that much about TiVo. I don't know how many DirecTiVo's are out there, but a split from DirecTV might be better in the long run. Right now, DirecTV administers the program and subsidizes TiVo.

The fee is unusually low, but the installed base is tied to TiVo. They will recoop their losses in fees, as they become real, like the $12.95 per month for stand alone TiVos.

87% of Tivos out there right now have a DirecTv receiver built in if that helps you... But since DirecTv joined teams with Fox... Mudoc wants to own everything the contracts still stand and well Tivo would die without DirecTv... humm you can put the rest together... Remember its all in money!

Not sure at all as to what you are trying to say maogdamian.
