Ive been playing CSR roulette trying to find one that will just ship the 922 directly to me... Instead they insist it has to be installed which will cost 95$... bringing the total cost of the upgrade to $295....

Did dish ship the receiver to you or did you need to get it installed?

I just want to get rid of my 411 which I own... and trade it in for a lease. It really wouldnt be a problem but since I cant add an EHD to my 411 i want to get a DVR.

$25 for cancelling service contract.

I think I will wait and get the tv2 adapter and hd media extender for my 722k. It will be cheaper and it should do the same thing as the 922 ,minus the new guides & menus , channel logos ,etc. I really do not want to pay $10.00 a month just for a dvr fee . The last time DISH tried to charge a fee this high was the personal tv fee of 9.99 on the old dish players. I never paid that fee either.

Yep $4 doesn't sound like Much, But add them ALL together.
That Would be $27 per month in fees for Just a 922 and one 625,622,or 722
When is enough enough?
