Device Code for Sony Projector??

Has anyone been able to control their projectors using the Dish Remotes? I am trying to control my Sony VPLAW-10 hd projector using the 5.3 IR remote..with no luck. I tried a device scan, also tried using the Sony TV codes, and even called tech support who "coincidentally" hung up on me when she didn't know what to tell me.

Other ppl who've struggled with controlling their projectors were advised to get a Harmony remote...that's not in my budget right now!

Any advice from anyone is appreciated.

Find a tech and ask him for a newer model remote.
Or order one from a Dish.

Do what the doc said--get a 21.0 IR/UHF remote. It'll control ANY IR device. If there's no code for your projector and you have its' remote it'll learn it. $19.99 + tax/shipping directly from Dish.

What Dish receiver do you have?
