Dish 301 Problem with dish and LNB

I just got a new four room system with 522\031\301 receivers. I would like to take my spare dish that has a dual LNB and a 301 receiver to my hunting club on the weekend.
I tried this setup but it gave a error saying it was part of a quad system and would not work as a standalone. My old system would let me do this so does anyone know how to make it work with the dual LNB instead of the normal quad LNB?

You need to run a switch test in the installation menu each time you switch LNBs. When changing to the Dual LNB, you should first run the switch test with it disconnected and then run it with it connected.
