1. When you try to change off a channel you are pausing, or have paused and are timeshifted, ask for a confirmation. Twice in the last week I have paused a program and my 3 year old has hit that stupid Dish button and wiped out the live buffer. 
2. Make the pip swap button work anytime. That way if something is being recorded on tuner 1 you can switch to tuner 2 without having to actually bring up the PIP screen.
