Dish DVR

OK, so what is it going to cost. Living room and 3 bedrooms, want hd for locals, Fresno area. Must also have
Telemundo and Univision for wife? When you get receivers from Dish, do you have to pay a montly rental fee for HD receivers?

The first is free(monthly), each one after that would be $7. Each 211 controls one TV.

You won't get a Joey. You'll need three 211 receivers. Will cost $7 for the second and $7 for the third receiver.

There is no cost savings in owning vs leasing. That fee is not a lease fee, but an active receiver fee.

Been $7 since atleast 2011. I think 2010 was when they had their big fee restructure. If that helps. For equipment atleast. Hopper is a different story. It has changed price 2 times since 2012

If you don't mind all TVs watching the same programming at the same time, you can get just one box, preferably the ViP211K and distribute the signal throughout the house- via coax or wirelessly.

If you distribute the other tv's via coax then they will only receive SD, not HD. You would need some sort of HDMI splitter or something.

Won't they still activate a 222 if he can find one to buy, say on eBay or somewhere. I was thinking about the extra TV2 output.
