Dish ProPlus 44 Switch and 301 Reciever

I am going to get a 522 and currently have a 301 and was wondering does the Dish ProPlus 44 switch and the 301 reciever work together? I am going to use the Dish ProPlus switch so I don't have to run another coax to the 522.
