DISH signs new deal with AMC Networks

Beat me to it. As for a merger and price hikes no way to know. The radio satellites after merger have not gone up dramitically (*) in fact I believe they had to agree not to for awhile at that time. Their price increased over royalty increases that would have happened without the merger.

* if you are willing to call and get the best price you could pay actually less than a few years ago. Somewhat dependent on # of radios.
