The satellite operator is suing Univision in federal court, alleging that it distributed Mexican soccer games via Facebook in violation of their carriage agreement. Last month, Univision moved to dismiss the suit. Dish responded on Friday, contending that nothing in the agreement permits Univision to repackage programming and "then allowing that content to be given away for free."

Nowhere in the linked article does Dish claim to have lost customers. They do claim that Univision violated their distribution contract with Dish by offering the games elsewhere for free. The courts will decide which side the facts support. The lack of any significant direct financial loss does not mean the courts can't award punitive damages if Univision is found to be in violation.

when does Univision's contract with Dish for Dish to carry their channels ends.

i can see this lawsuit end in settlement when Univision's contract with Dish expires. that's how Dish settled with Disney in court.
