I am located at 90.024 west and 42.577 North ( Southwest WI. ) currently using western Arc 110,119 129 locals are seen on 110. The Locals are also available on 61.5 I also have a single dish aimed at 61.5 The 129 satellite is catching part of a tree because the angle is so low.
even though signal is stronger from 61.5 my locals come in on 110 unless I cover the 110 LNB and run check switch. I would like to make the 61.5 channels come in instead of the 110 as I lose most stations when ever it rains. Dish tech says dishes are aimed as well as possible.
I have ordered an Eastern arc LNB with the hope of getting 61.5 72.7 and 77 satellites. Will my Dish work for this LNB? Is there a site where I can get angles for this setup?
I am buying an old larger primestar dish as I have heard these work better. But I have no idea how to adapt this to a dish LNB.
I also take a dish 500 with me camping and usually get 110 119 ( no HD in the camper) I also would like the option of getting 61.5 72.7 if there are trees to the southwest. I have received both 61.5 and 72.7 on the 500 by cheating a little west off the the best 61.5 signal with skew set at 68 degrees. It would be a lot easier if I could find angles and skew instead of guessing and tweaking each time.
I have a 722 and 211 receivers, I take 211 camping
Any advice would be appreciated
Thank you.
