does picture in picture work on the joeys

I have used picture in picture from the hopper with no problems but any time i try it from either of my joeys it says feature is unavailable. I have have tried it when nothing is recording on any of the tuners just to be sure. Is it something I have to activate? Thanks for your help

Only the Hopper has PIP the Joeys do NOT have PIP.

It doesn't work. It's not a bug. They have stated they could not bring PIP to the Joey.

I wish they would, but I'm not holding my breath. On the other hand the remote does have PIP controls and Joey does acknowledge the feature is not available....which could be interpreted as leaving the door slightly ajar. Full integration between Hoppers and PIP in Joey...wish list..

Dish remotes operate more than one receiver model. I had remotes with dvr keys for non-dvr receivers.
