DVR 522 - Front panel mode and remote

Is there a way to switch the mode (single/dual) from either of the remotes without having to use the front panel switch?

I have my 522 in a cooled cabinet and have to open a set of doors to access it to change the mode on the front panel.

Sorry, but the mode switching is currently only performed on the front panel. We're all hoping for remote control of that feature in a future firmware release (but most of us here, understandably, would rather prioritize the A/V dropouts to be fixed first).
