EchoStar has decided to focus on its relationships with other telecom firms. The company will continue to honor its current multi-year contract with Qwest under which Qwest sells EchoStar's Dish Network satellite service to Qwest customers. Shares of EchoStar fell 10 cents to close at 31.29 ahead of the news Friday while Qwest fell 2 cents to close at 3.18.
