Does anyone know if Sling is in devlopment of codes or how to setup the remote so a slingbox can work with fire tv? I have run out of HD ports on my televisons (yes both componant and HDMI) on both of my TV's. I want to locate the fire TV close to the slingbox that sits on my computer desk.
1. The firetv box is accessable through sling and is closer to the router/switch.
2. I dont have to run a third wire to the TV as I allready have one going to a second sling and another eathernet cord going to my HR 21.
3. The fire tv box is not accessable to kids as easly as only I have user permissions to the slings on my home network. (allthough the kids deal is not a big issue as they are not oldenough yet to know what the hell the box is. )
My main purpose is having it accessable for the current beta that is going on. Any ideas?
