It took me about 5 hours of driving, but I have finally made it to Indy. Arrived this afternoon (Thursday). The Show is not open yet, displays are still being assembled. Here is a quick pick at Dish Network booth (they had actual PocketDish there but they asked me not take pictures of it, as it was not properly connected yet)
Sony had a press conference this evening where they unvieled some of their new products, including a new 1080p front projector based on the SXRD technology, with a contrast ratio of up to 15,000:1 (!) - VPL-VW100; new BRAVIA™ XBR flat panel LCD high-definition televisions (HDTVs) in 40-, 32- and 26-inch screen sizes - KDL-V40XBR1, KDL-V32XBR1 and KDL-V26XBR1. And at the end of the day I watched Star Wars Episode III in DLP Cinema Format! Courtesy of Texas Instruments. That was fantastic!
