I have two 501 receivers and one 510 dvr, under lease for about the last two years. I just was told by a Dish rep that I can trade in the two 501's for two 510's for just a shipping charge of $50: no increase in my monthly bill, and no time obligation. She said this is because I've already fulfilled my lease obligation. I can't think of a reason not to do this, if she's got it right. Does she?
PS: I know there are better DVR's but my needs are simple, and I'm going to go to HD at some point anyway. This is just for the short-term.
