Generic remote code?

Just installed my second 622 ViP, which will drive my Polaroid FM 2632 LCD. Polaroid is not listed in the codes for programming the 5.3IR remote, and I could not find any more assistance on the DISH tech portal.

When I had TiVo, they had a generic code number which "might" work when there was no assigned code for a television brand. I was able to program my TiVo remote to power on/off the Polaroid, but no volume controls, etc. Could not find any such generic code in the DISH sources.

Any ideas?
