Google TV Releases Netflix and app updates

From the Logitech Forums
Hi,

As part of Logitech’s commitment to continuously update the product and add new features, we have begun sending out a software update to Revue over the air today. We are sending the update out in waves and it will take a few days before all Revue boxes receive it. All Revue boxes will receive the update by end of day on Friday, December 17, 2010.

Your Revue will display a message when the update is available to you for download and installation. If you are not using Revue when the message is displayed, the update will automatically be installed after 30 minutes of the message being displayed with no response.

To check if your Revue has received the update, follow the steps below:

From the Google TV home screen, go to Applications > Settings > About.
Scroll down to Build Number. If your Revue has received the update, the number will end in “b42449.”
Below is a list of the new features and bug fixes that are included in the update:

anyone that has googe tv logitech how is it and how you feel about it?ty for any replies and help im thinking about getting it:)

I'm viewing this site now via revue. It's a great product with lots of cool features. There are bugs like those fixes listed above but nothing that is debilitating. We have Netflix account but can't really use it because our only option here is 3G internet (bandwidth limit) but that would be MEGASWEET if we could use it. We mainly use for internet browsing on the TV and the search functionality is call-the-techno/geek-neighbor over to show them how cool it is (ARR ARR ARR).

Can you view DishOnline.com with Google TV ? Other than having one this would be a plus for purchasing one :) I already do Hulu+, NetFlix and PlayON media server on my PS3.

You can view any website using the built in Google Chrome browser. DishOnline included. I thought I would use that a lot but there's another feature called 'What's On' and it lists channels by category and also has the network and/or show icon along with it. Nice. You just click the channel on the list and it takes you to the channel. If it's something coming on in the future, you can set the DVR to record.
