What exactly is the DVR fee and when does it apply? Does it apply to DVR Advantage? Also does it apply to all boxes (612)?

It doesn't apply to older models DVRs. Otherwise any DVR is assessed the fee. The first DVR fee is included in the cost ($10) of adding the DVR Advantage, saving 98 cents. You also save 98 cents for each additional DVR (the fee is $5 instead of $5.98). The 211 when tuned into a DVR by adding an external hard drive is not assessed the fee. Yes the 612 is assessed the fee.
