Having a 722 problem

Two mornings in a row, I've gotten a snowstorm instead of picture. A reset fixes it. Think this might be an HDMI port problem?

Switch to component or composite for a day or two and see if it still happens. That should give you your answer.

Definitely an HDMI issue. In addition to what VegasVoomer said, you could try a different HDMI port on the TV or a different HDMI cable, see if that helps.

I get pure noise from time to time. (Snow is for analog.) The problem seem to be the HDMI cable or connector, cable or chassis, as wiggling it may cure the signal for quite a while. 722s to Samsung LED DLP. Generally, no complaint about the Monoprice cables that I can attribute to them.
