Haven't been on here a while to post, but I figured this is the place to come.
Currently have a 508 and a 510 PVR. Have been pretty happy with them overall. I'm thinking of getting a HD TV after the holidays and am wondering which HD PVR I should try and get along with it. How much is involved in changing over? Do they have to put up a new dish etc?
I like the 30 second jump button on the current one, and I understand some (all) of them can take external drives? I think I would lean toward one that took extra drives. I don't archive, but sometimes I fall VERY far behind on watching things.
I've kind of lost track with the HD. I currently have the top 250 and HBO. What packages do you think I would want with the new setup?
