May get a new HD TV! So if I'm with Dish Network what equipment should I get and where?

Depends on what your wanting the receiver to do such as basic hd or hd with dvr, how many other tv's you want hooked up, if you want voom hd channels also. Your best bet is to go to dish networks website and start looking at the hd equipment and programming options. After that you can call them up and do the ordering for your gear and programming options or you can contact a local DBS dealer in your area that sells and installs dishnetwork. Talk to some of your neighbors that have dish network and find out who did theyr installs, or you can also find a few in the phone book and check with the local BBB to see if any of them have alot of complaints as these you will want to avoid.

On the TV side go to a reputable local TV dealer who knows about HD TV and your equipment connectivity to get an idea as to what brand and model TV to buy. Don't just shop with price in mind. Be sure and ask about what these sets will cost to maintain. Some have projector lamps that will eventually need replacing at $300 -$400 currently.
