help with HD aspect ratio?

I think someone has had this same problem, but I can't find the posts.
Most of my HD content is fine in good 'ol 16:9 format, but I noticed the local OTA WB last night was 4:3 with bars on top and bottom, too! The show plainly said as it come on that the broadcast was in HD where available. It didn't look very HD, either. Again, my other stations seem fine. My WB channel is definitely digital, but is it probably just not being broadcast in HD?

Where are you located? Smallville was broadcast just fine in HD on the WB station in Dallas. Did you try to contact the affiliate?

I'm in the Knoxville, TN area (WB is out of Crossville). I watched Smallville in 4:3 last night. I guess I need to contact the affiliate.
