Heroes & Icons Live

I had to stretch it. But now I suppose everything is stretched (it did)

When did they add H&I at this slot?

Not even 2 hours ago, wished it was the HD feed like they did with Comet.

Have H&I is actually welcome because it's the one reason I put up the antenna. And it's on VHF 2 here so it's hard to get consistently.

I wish Dish software would remember the stretch per channel. H&I OTA stretches by default. I wouldn't mind them showing the original 4x3 but they don't. So Dish should stretch it by default.

In NY/NJ it was channel 42 then they sold it to Jimmy Swaggart. That was in 2016 and Dish never replaced it until now. I wonder who is feeding this and when they'll pull this rug...

IIRC Comet wasn't HD when it was first added

That is correct. Here are the relevant uplink reports:
Channels Now Available
289 COMET Comet TV 119° TP 8 SD Hidden – AVAILABLE
289 COMET Comet TV 61.5° TP 1 SD MPEG4 Hidden – AVAILABLE

Channels Now Available
9689 COMET (289 HD) Comet TV 129° TP 28 HD Hidden – AVAILABLE
9689 COMET (289 HD) Comet TV 61.5° TP 15 HD Hidden –
AVAILABLE
...
Uplinks Removed
289 COMET Comet TV removed from 119° TP 8 (SD Hidden)
289 COMET Comet TV removed from 61.5° TP 1 (SD MPEG4 Hidden)

Note that when the HD feed launched, they also removed the SD feed. It took Dish a few months to realize that they still needed the SD feed for Western Arc, so they added it back:

Well since H&I and MeTV are both Weigel properties perhaps they will switch to HD at a later date and it's no surprise to me that the H&I feed is anamorphic just like MeTV

Just about everything they have can be seen on Netflix or Prime.
But their big draw is tweeting #allstartrek
It's just as active as it was years ago. Otherwise during the day they seem to play mostly old Western series.

But if Star Trek is like other shows on All Access they do not show every episode.
What they do on H&I is advertise Twitter #allstartrek as a way to group tweet all the classic Star Trek series. They show them in episode order. They repeat the cycle every few months.

MeTV shows Star Trek TOS on Saturday night. Every few months coincidently the same episode will be on Sunday night on H&I and diehard trekies tweet both times.
