Will a service call be required for existing customers with an H3 or HWS? It would not seem to be necessary but some othervposts hinted it might be required.
 
Undoubtedly, it is not plug and play...
Then i must not understand what is required. It sounds like moving the HDMI cable so that the TV is connected to the Plus and then connecting the Hopper to the Plus.


What other than those steps ( and plugging in the Plus) is required?

This is really a simple question. I do not understand why it has been so hard to get an answer. CSRs do not know what the Plus is. Contacts say they cannot answer and people here either do not answer or do so coyly.
 
I don't have an exact answer for this one. In talking with them it was something they were tossing around for self installs.

The Joey 4's are really simple.

The Plus is not hard to setup just kind of confusing at first.

I self installed mine without issues, so I do hope they make that option available.
