My parents are visiting from Maine. They watch a lot of tv, so they brought their hopper with sling with them. I have a dish on my house. We hook it up, and it only gets random channels and says signal loss. The picture is fine, no pixels, blocks, or freezes. I did not have the hopper outside node. They left left the joey at home. 110 is at about 78%, 119 ~60% and 129 is ~50%. When we test the switches they are good, but show 110, 110, 119. During other tests (prior to reboots) it was 110, 110, 129. I hooked up my vip 211z out of my RV and it works fine and gets all three sats. The dish is a 1000.2 and from what I have seen is supposed to support a Hopper with Sling. The coax cables are on #1 and #3 on the outside dish. We tried #1, and #2 and had the same results.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any help.

Run any 2 lines from the dish to a single node and one line from the host port on the node to the HWS and you'll be in business.
