I will be recording since it will be on HBO as well. Or maybe not, have to compare the resolution and sound available between the two.

Hopefully Dolby Vision and Atmos which will mean watching the app.
Even if not, it will still be a lot better on the app vs Comcast ( I believe you have Comcast, correct me if I am wrong), real 1080P/ Dolby Digital+ vs 720P up converted to 1080 and Dolby Digital.

But I believe it will be in 4K also.

Surely it will be available in 4K on the app. Would be very disappointing if it wasn't.

I'll be waiting for the reports from consumers. I can't think of any other reason to subscribe to HBO Max so I envision doing a one month subscription and binging it. I'm not sure I'll even bother with Westworld based on the reports. HBO Max has been a one and done for me since the beginning based on their decided lack of new and compelling content.

I really enjoyed the premier. I can't believe how much happened! Really like the actors so far (or dislike them as appropriate). Some pretty brutal scenes as we would expect with a GOT show.

And Matt Smith Dad bod, I expect him to be lanky like his portrail of The Doctor.

Renewed for season 2.

I will probably hold off a few more weeks to start. I did read the premier was so popular it broke HBO Max for many trying to watch.

I am waiting til it is done, way behind on everything anyways, just started the last season of Saul.

I do not know how working people can keep up with all this content.

One more episode to go, but I think the “HotD” team may be breaking the “GoT” formula of the 9th episode being the “biggest and baddest” episode of the seasons (think Season 2 Blackwater battle and the wildfire reveal)(hopefully you all have watched “Game of Thrones” and I don’t get yelled at for Spoilers).

So far, I’m giving this series a :star:star:star:star:star:star:star:star:star

Good first season! My only criticism (without spoilers) is that way too much was packed into a single season. It’s hard to follow the plot and all the characters at such a high pace. I think this should’ve been split into two seasons, but probably the budget didn’t allow for that.

I think they wanted to get to the action of the story which happened towards the end of season. Dragging it out with no action likely would have made viewers not want to come back for the next season. Now though they know the civil war has started and so there will be lots of action.

As this season was mostly "The Rouge Prince"/"Heirs of the Dragon", it appears season 2 will be "The Princess and the Queen"/"Dying of the Dragons". Which makes me wonder what future seasons will be. "Aftermath" which has almost none of the current main characters?

Still need to watch the First Season, I even bought the 4K Discs.

But still fighting a backlog of content.
