Hi satellite guys ,

I bought a satellite receiver and want to receive the channels for Galaxy 19 (97 West). Can you guys tell me based on your experience, what dish size I need (KU Band) ?

Lyngsat.com says 80 cm as diameter is needed, but I am not sure if that info is correct.

Thanks!

I think 36" (90cm) is best. They are fairly common and shipping is survivable, and should work well in your area. Maybe there is a local retailer close by too.
The E-bay link FaT Air posted is a good deal.

That's the dish I have. I have the LNBF for 97w off-center (103w is centered) and I was still able to scan in around 200 channels this morning. Having it centered would bring in a few more, and make the rest more reliable. Bigger is always better with FTA.
