Hughes to Promote New Brand, Train Retailers at Satellite Expo 2006

Germantown, Md., April 13, 2006—Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the global leader in broadband satellite network solutions and services, today announced it will promote its new HughesNet™ brand to retailers at Satellite Expo 2006, booth number 703.

The new HughesNet services, which were launched in March, are designed to enhance the customer’s broadband experience, and reflect the company’s status as a leading ISP for consumers and small businesses. Three new features are also now available to all HughesNet customers—new email features, a customizable start page, and more accessible customer support services. Future services will include domain registration, Web hosting, domain-based e-mail and blogging.

Held in Atlanta, Ga. April 18-22, 2006, Satellite Expo 2006 will provide the opportunity for HughesNet retailers to undergo sales and marketing training. Hughes currently has over 1,000 retailers/dealers across the country and serves well more than 275,000 subscribers in the consumer/small business sector in North America.

Sales and marketing training for HughesNet retailers will take place Wednesday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Retailers will learn the best ways to target businesses in their regions, leverage marketing material provided by Hughes, and gain visibility in their local communities.
