If I drop U-verse internet, How long before I'm considered a "NEW" customer?

U-verse won't let me put the account on vacation for 6 months, so I'm going to turn the box in. Anyone know?

Relatively quickly. Weeks to a month.
Ive left them before and returned quickly.

They will work with you. Plus give you perks
