Image not centered on my tv

I have a Hitachi Ultravision 60" LCD widescreen projection set. When watching non widescreen programming (basically all SD channels) the image isn't centered on my screen. The black bar on the right side is a good 4 inches wider than the left. When watching HD signals in widescreen it seems to be centered fine. ESPN HD which I have never seen a widescreen program on, also is moved off to the left of the screen a bit. Any ideas? Do you think it is the tv or the 811 box? I am using the DVI connection if that matters.

I believe if you go to HDTV setup (Menu 6-1-9) there is an "adjust" button you can highlight and press that will let you center the pic.
