Installation of FTA and *c on 2 receivers possible?

I have a Pansat 2500 clone receiver installed with a Wineguard 76cm dish, SG-2100 motor and a single universal LNB. I am wanting purchase a *C receiver and service, but I am also wanting the fta receiver in a different room. Is this possible with a single LNB? Will a dp34 switch work to split the signal? If so will I have problems moving the dish with the motor? Will a second *C receiver work? Thanks!

won't work

SC needs a standard LNB, not a universal. Also, you would have to leave the dish at 107.3 (main SC satellite) to download the guide. DP34 is for Dish or ExpressVu and wouldnt work with any thing else. Sicne you have a single LNB, there's more involved. You wouldn't be able to have both SC and FTA on at the same time.

Easiest is to get 2 dishes.

I was afraid of that. So I will need 2 wires to the location I want the fta and and the *C receiver?
