That could be. I did change my password yesterday, so I can be pretty sure they did not get my login credentials. When I check the internet app, the Hopper has a local ip address. I know that there must be some way for incoming connections so Dish Anywhere can work. I think most of these have been from Bulgaria, and a couple from Monaco. My guess is, that Its trying to access your Dish Anywhere.
Check port forwarding on your router and see if any ports have been opened to be forwarded to your Hopper 3 IP address. That could be. It's a reasonable suggestion, but I have not changed any settings. I will have to look to see if the ip address and password are listed on the router.Check port forwarding on your router and see if any ports have been opened to be forwarded to your Hopper 3 IP address.
I was just able to look at settings on the APP. Fidium does not allow direct access to the router, but via the app you can look at each device, and allow port access as needed. The Hopper has no open ports, so this whole thing is a bit of a mystery, but these "attacks" are not getting through, so I can probably relax. It's a reasonable suggestion, but I have not changed any settings. The usual defaults cannot be accessed, so the ISP must configure it differently
If there is any port open, it would have come that way prior to the install.
