Joe paterno begins to fade away........

I said it in the other thread - this will kill him not the cancer. Why continue to push on when you have nothing left...

Once all this crap started and he lost his job, I'm sure his will to live started to fade.....

I totally agree. PSU football kept him alive and young...active. But now, all this stuff looming over his head and the schools head ...alot of stress on him and his healthy.

He may have lost the will to fight it, but maybe the cancer is actually worse than they led on.

When he dies, I don't think its going to be because of cancer... I think its going to be because of a broken heart.

He may have lost the will to fight it, but maybe the cancer is actually worse than they led on.

That's what it sounds like. Didn't his son just a couple of weeks ago say it was a treatable form of cancer? Now it sounds like that's what they wanted to tell everyone.
