I have KTLA via Dish....I want to bag dish and keep just Direct but when I call Direct they tell me they can't give me KTLA?

DirecTV does not offer any out-of-market superstatios like Dish does. Many have asked, none have received. KTLA is available in the LA market of course as a local.

I believe Dish and some Canadian providers are the only providers that offer superstations like that, as an add-on.

yep. Dish offers the SS package. Also most Canadian providers offer a stripped down version
KTLA, WPIX & WSBK are available along with WGN (The local feed, not the Superstation)
WWOR & KWGN are not on most Canadian providers

TBS is WPCH in Canada (the local version...not the SS)
