Helping a friend and I know nothing about the Legacy Quad system. I have looked and found the following site that says you can use a SW44 or SW64.

I have 4 lines coming from the Sat, each going to its own reciever. I need a 5th line. I would prefer a switch as to getting on top of my buddies roof (3 stories and steep).
Can it be done? Thanks in advance for the help...

Adding a fifth tuner to a Legacy system is very difficult.

You're much better off converting to DishPro.

DP Twin LNB, DP34 switch, plus a DP21 switch on the '34s cascade outputs.
