I know that I cannot get local channels in HD unless I get an antenna.

However, if I get the Direct TV HD system, can I still get my local channels in analog with the satellite like I do now? I live pretty far out from the city and I really don't want to mess with an antenna if I don't have to. I could live with analog for locals for a while until Direct TV starts offering them in HD through the dish.

My Hughes HTL-HD receiver integrates my analog and digital channels into my guide. Of course, you only get as good of a picture as you can get with an antenna which in my case is crappy for the analog channels. My digital channels don't come in at all, although I tuned into my local FOX digital channel the other day and got pixels all over the screen. I almost wet my pants (not really, but it was exciting). Since my (analog) local channels are not available over satellite, it's really kind of exciting to see my local channels information up there on the guide.
