Has anybody tried receiving the microwave links the your local news station uses for sending the live feeds back to the station? If so what kind of equipment are you using?
I did years ago, but I couldn't tell you what the equipment was. I don't even know if the company is still in business.
If your looking for what is in your area http://www.fccinfo.com is a good place to find it. Use the "RDU Coordinate" and search for "ULS Within" it will give you every licensed broadcast auxillary transmitter in your area.
