Media DISH antenna images

I find it amusing the various antenna images the media chooses to use when doing stories on DISH or DTV. With Dish, it's almost always a 15+ year old picture of a DISH 500. DTV is often an 18" round antenna. Below is an image that Yahoo finance used for a DISH article on the 10th.
 
They're afraid of using a copyrighted image.

I thought of that too, but I wouldn't think using the usual pic of an old Dish 500 is any less of an infringement than a pic of the current Dish 1000.2. That said, I'm not a copyright lawyer and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night either.
 
Here's a recent one from Barron's online. I think in most cases they just lazily grab the first image that pops up and run with it.
 
The average reader is not going to know a Dish 300 from a 500 from a 1000.
Simple fact is it really matters not to the target audience.
