I have an Air tv Adapter I bought a few years ago. If I buy a new Dish network OTA adapter will the turner be more sensitive than the older Air Tv adapter as in get more channels that are available in my area?

The Air Tv adapter is identical to the Dish branded one, so there would be no advantage to buying one.

Seem like before I bought the Air TV adapter it was said to be better than what Dish had...I don't think they still make the Air TV thing anymore

The only thing better about the Air TV tuner was its price. You are right, they are no longer available.

What Dish had before the AirTV was not good but what dish has now IS the same at the AirTV adapter

I bought the AirTV and it's been rock stable, if not just a tad warm but I have an exhaust fan anyway behind the entertainment center

The AirTV adapter is the first Dish OTA tuner I've had that hasn't given me problems.

My VIP211K OTA tuner was/is excellent.

Not ATSC 3.0 (NextGen), but any ATSC 1.0 channels…
