Just read an AP story that there are two new channels--The Military Channel and The Military History Channel. Both are already broadcasting. The article said that the M H Channel was offered free to cable and satellite operators for three months when it started last week. I don't see it listed in the guide. Anyone know if E* plans on carrying either channel?

The Military Channel is on Dish. Its the channel formerly known as Discovery Wings.

I guess that Discovery Wings had only so much footage of Planes to show and finally ran out. I know that I watched the channel a lot a few years ago, but lately its been a fairly weak channel. Just more of the same thing over and over again.

At least there can be some fresh stuff to watch.

Shame to see Discovery Wings go...I really enjoyed that channel. It was one of the few reasons I kept the Top 180 package as long as I did before I dropped it a few months back.

Pentagon Channel coming on 61.5/148 tomorrow at 5PM EST. It's a public interest channel so should be free to anyone who subscribes to DISH Network with a wing satellite at 61.5 or 148.
